John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is a neo-noir action thriller from the United States which will be shown in theaters in 2019.

The film, played by Keanu Reeves as the same character in the three John Wick film series, follows John Wick (2014) and John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017).

This film has certainly been eagerly awaited by fans of Keanu Reeves whose name soared thanks to starring in the film trilogy The Matrix.

In October 2016, Chad Stahelsky, who debuted his director in the John Wick film and became a substitute for Reeves in the film Matrix, stated that the John Wick series was in the works.

Meanwhile the film script was written by Derek Kolstad who also wrote two previous films. The certainty of Stahelsky's return to the director's chair was announced in June 2017.

The title of the film "Parabellum" is taken from a famous Roman military quote in the 4th century: "Si vis pacem, the bellum" which means "if you want peace, prepare to fight".

In January 2018, it was reported that Hiroyuki Sanada joined playing in this film. Then it was revealed that the players who had previously been in the John Wick films, such as Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Lance Reddick re-emerged.

Meanwhile, the new recruits are Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, Asia Kate Dillon, Mark Dacascos, Jason Mantzoukas, Yayan Ruhian, Cecep Arif Rahman and Tiger Chen.

Filming began on May 5, 2018, located in New York and Montreal. There are also additional shots taken in Morocco.

The film produced by Lionsgate is planned to release the film in theaters on May 17, 2019.

Synopsis

John Wick: Chapter 3 tells John Wick (Keanu Reeves), a super assassin who is on the run. He has two reasons for this escape: there is a global open contract worth US $ 14 million and because it violates central regulations: taking one's life on the Continental Hotel grounds.

John Wick killed a member of the international shadow killer named Santino D'Antonio, a member of the High Table.

Plot

The former hit man named John Wick is now the most wanted man in Manhattan. He was on the run because he was chased by so many assassins.

After a murder without permission in the city of New York Continental, a hitman, he was declared an "excommunicado" by his carrier on the Hight Table. He is valued at $ 14 million for anyone who succeeds in killing him.

In Casablanca, John meets Sofia, a former friend and manager of Casablanca Continental. He gives a medal of markers, which symbolizes the unbreakable promise among the killers; Sofia is indebted to him.

He asked for a way to meet The Elder (Elder), a high-ranking member of the High Table so that he could request that his murder prize be canceled.

Sofia takes him to a murderer named Berrada, who tells John that he might meet the Elder by wandering in the desert until he cannot walk anymore.
